For many authors, writing their latest book is the easiest part of their job. Getting it published by a major publishing house is very competitive, and only a very small percentage of authors are successful. Fortunately, for these writers, a lot of book promotions are included because the publishing house wants to make money.
But what about the self-published authors? Unfortunately, most self-publishing platforms do little more than add the book to their website. In addition, you have to pay hundreds of dollars in editing fees, printing fees, and other costs to get that webpage. Getting people to buy and read your book is another challenge entirely.
